Fitment of Thule K-Summit XXL Chains on Tire Size 285/40 R22

Question:

I have a Range Rover Sport with aftermarket tires/wheels. The tires are 285/40 R22. I think that means 22 inch diameter. I have Thule K-Summit XXL [K66]. Will these chains work on my Range Rover?

I can help you find the correct tire chains for your aftermarket tires on your Range Rover Sport, however the K-Summit chains you referenced will not be a fit.

The K-Summit Chains will fit only tires up to 21 inches in diameter and your 285/40R22 tire aftermarket tire actually has a diameter of 31 inches. I have included a Help Article on determining tire size for you to look at.

I would instead recommend the Pewag # PWE2228SC with the # TCMA2 rubber adjusters. With this style of chain it would need the adjuster to not only perform the best it can but secure it to the tire. The nice thing about these adjusters is that they will continue to hold onto the chain even if one arm is compromised unlike some of the other adjusters.
