Is There Fascia Trimming Required to Install Curt Hitch part # 13077
Question:
Does it require any trimming on a 2016 model? It looks like the fascia already has a cut out for the OEM hitch. Which model requires less cutting if any? I just need the hitch, no lighting wiring.

I checked with Curt and for the 2016 BMW X5 they still recommend fascia trimming to install the Curt Hitch part # 13077.
Because of the cut out area in the fascia that is there currently it may not be as severe though.
