Hello, Does my 2016 Forester need to be lifted in order to install the Curt C12100 Trailer Hitch? Thanks

The install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C12100 for your 2016 Subaru Forester do call for jack stands so you will need to raise the rear end of the vehicle at least slightly to easily install the hitch.
