2000 lb A-frame Jack that Cranks Faster than Lippert A-Frame Jack

Question:

Do all 2,000 lb A-frame jacks have the same cranks per inch of travel? I currently have a Lippert Sidewinder and it is 12 cranks per inch. Moving it fully up or down takes forever! Please advise. Thanks!!

The etrailer Jack part # TJBB-2001-B has a 2,000 lb capacity and it would crank faster than what you currently have, but it is not an A-frame jack.

I went out into our warehouse to determine how many cranks it would take to lift 1 inch and found that it takes 8 revolutions of the crank for the jack to raise 1 inch.

Not all jacks have the same cranks per inch. Typically, the more cranks per inch the jack have, the more mechanical advantage it has over the lifting. But the length of the crank handle plays into that as well.
