Replacement Vent Cover for Trailer Vent Marked Ventline AS-13 MV101
Question:
I have read a lot on your web page and have concluded that the BV 0554-01 is the correct replacement for the cover on my old 2005 Fleetwood pioneer. I will say I am a bit puzzled by the fact that the vent opening metal curb, as measured from the top of the travel trailer is really close to 13 x 13 inches. The lid that is on there seems to be 14 x 14 and has a continuous hinge. I see the number ion the cover is Ventline AS-13 MV101. So I think your BV 0554-01 is the correct replacement. Do you agree? Also, the existing cover is a translucent white that lets a lot of light through. See attached picture. I read somewhere in one of your web page Q and As that the smoked one BV 0554-03 would let more light through. Is the white one BV 0554-01 not translucent? If I want the daylight should I get the smoked one?

My contact at Ventline tells me that part # BV0554-01 in white or # BV0554-03 in smoke would be the correct replacement lids for your travel trailer.
The white is translucent, but the smoked still allows more light in that it.
