Recommendation To Charge The Battery On My Dump Trailer While It Is Hooked Up To My Truck

I would like to charge the battery on my dump tailor when it is hooked up to my truck? Any suggestions?

I can help you figure out a solution to charging your dump trailer's battery while it is connected to your Silverado.

I recommend the Solar Power Kit # TLA7713 to charge your dump trailer's battery. This 8 watt solar panel will maintain the charge and boost the life of your battery. It is important to note that if you are installing this panel on a battery box that contains only 1 battery, you will need a 6-amp regulator # TLA7715 to prevent overcharging.

A nice benefit a solar panel offers is that there is no need to connect it to an outside power source. The panel will charge the battery whether the trailer is connected to the truck or not, as long at the panel is connected to the battery. This can come in handy when travelling from site to site, it will continue to charge whether the trailer is traveling or stationary.
