Will a Reverse Lock Out Solenoid on a Trailer Blow Reverse Light Fuse on Tow Vehicle
Question:
I have a 2012 Toypota Highlander. Ive ordered the T-One wiring harness # 118449 and the 4-pole to 5-pole adapter. My concern is that splicing the reverse wire into the Highland reverse lights will not provide enough current to activate the solenoid OR result in damage to the vehicle electrical system. Experience, comments, advice welcomed.

Electric reverse lock out solenoids draw a very small amount of amperage. We have yet to hear about a vehicle blowing a reverse light fuse from using the circuit to activate a reverse lockout solenoid.
You would be just fine.
