The Tow Ready trailer wiring kit part # 119178KIT has been confirmed as a fit for your 2009 Kia Sportage 4 cylinder. But this is a universal fit style of harness that requires you to test the functions of the vehicle's wiring so that you can correctly attach the wires of the # 119178KIT.
You will need to remove the rear taillight assembly to locate the wiring so that you can test it.
