Adapter Needed to Mount 1980's Yakima Roof Rack Accessories to Subaru Forester Roof Rack

I have vintage 1980s Yakama rack system. This system includes kayak rack, ski rack and basket rack. I just acquired a Subaru Forester. I need a rack adapter that will let me mount my Yakama roof accessories to my cool new Subaru Forester.

The factory-installed roof rack crossbars on the latest Subaru Foresters are fairly large and some older roof-mount accessories may not fit without an adapter like their Universal MightyMounts # Y03590. My contact at Yakima advised that some 1980's-era rack-mount accessory items will indeed be compatible with the Universal MightyMounts but others will not be.
The linked instructions for the kit include listings for the various carriers that will be compatible and they show the manner of using the MightyMounts for those compatible carriers.
You'll want to review your Subaru owner's manual to confirm its roof weight capacity before loading up your rooftop cargo.
