Different Mounting Hardware to Get a Thule Cargo Box to Fit Factory Audi Roof Rack Crossbars
Question:
Do you have any options for longer u-bolts for the Thule racks? I got a factory Audi rack and the rails are too thick for the stock u-bolts. Thanks for your help!

There aren't longer u-bolts you can use but I may have a solution for you. You may be able to use replacement QM3 hardware, # TH04997. This is the 3 inch length bolts with 2-3/4 inches of thread.
This hardware will fit crossbars up to 3-5/8 inches wide with a hole spacing of 4 inches on center. The bolts are 3-1/2 inches long. The use of this kit will likely require drilling new holes in the box. Any unused holes will need to be plugged with silicone such as # LT37467.
