5th Wheel Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series Hitch in 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Question:

Hi. I have a 2012 f350 super duty with a 24 signature series. Im looking into buying a 2015 2500 chev Silverado. What do I need for parts to change trucks. Do I need the Complete underbed parts or can I get by with just the frame plates. The underbed Ford parts are not factory. Hitch has top rails you sinch down then slide top peice on. Thanks for your help

To mount a Reese Elite Series 5th wheel hitch in the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 8-foot bed you'll need to install an Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30868. This kit features the Power Puck system for quick mounting and removal of the Elite/Signature series hitch. The similar installation kit you referenced, part # RP30073, only fits Ford trucks.

If you have a Signature Series hitch you'll also need adapter kit # RP58419.

For a wiring harness use part # C56000 from Curt. This plugs right in to your factory 7-way.
