Recommended Way to Actually Charge Dump Trailers Battery While Towed

To put a decent amount of a charge on a dump trailer's battery you would need to run a pretty heavy gauge wire from the vehicle alternator back to the battery of the trailer.
You could use part # BDW20207 which is typically used to wire electric winches but would also work for this type of set-up.
The trailer and vehicle wiring kit includes 24 feet of 2 gauge double wire and the quick connectors. If the wire was any smaller than what comes with this kit you would end up not being able to put a decent enough charge on the battery.
