Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2013 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
Why cant I reply to answers you guys give? I was recommended a trailer hitch type bike holder but I dont think my Jetta has a trailer hitch. Have you ever helped someone get one for a jetta? If I get a you trailer hitch for my 2013 jetta what product do you recommend for 2 bikes and also how can I lock this product to the trailer hitch so it doesnt get broken.

We can certainly help you find a trailer hitch for your Jetta. The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2013 Volkswagen Jetta is the Curt # C11474. This hitch has a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver and will work well for you to carry a bike rack.
Class I trailer hitches, like the # C11474 hitch, are limited to carrying 2 bikes on a hitch mount bike rack. A great 2-bike rack option that I recommend for you is the Thule Camber # TH9058. The Camber features a tilt-away mast that allows you to access the trunk of your Jetta while the rack is installed. The cradles on the rack will secure your bike a 3 points to help prevent bike-to-bike contact. I have attached a review video of this rack for you.
The Camber can be locked to the trailer hitch with the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2. I have attached a review video of this pin and lock for you.
