To install the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # C56000 on your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, you will want to connect the T-connectors on the harness to your vehicle's factory wiring. This connection can be made between the harness and 7-way connector at the rear of the vehicle.
You will need to drill a 2 inch hole in the truck bed side to fit the 7-way connector. The connector will install with the provided 4 self taping screws.
