Adapter Recommendation for Yakima Ski Racks to Allow Them to Fit Elliptical Crossbars

Question:

I have yakima ski racks. I got a new truck and got a rhino rack on the topper. The cross bars are the aero bars, which are wider than the last cross bars I had. The wider clips dont go all the way around the bar. Does this part work as an adapter with the yakima racks to get them to fit onto the rhino cross bars it saw it fits most and want to be sure before I buy something: Y03590 Thanks for your help.

Most likely the answer to your question is yes. The Universal MightyMounts # Y03590 is designed to adapt most Yakima roof carriers to fit nearly all styles of roof rack crossbars.

That being said since I do not know which carrier you have I cannot say with absolute certainty that this adapter would fit.

I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that show how the adapter installs on a ski or snowboard rack for you to check out as well. This should give you a pretty good idea if it will fit.
