Can E Tracks Have Accessories that Pull to the Sides
Question:
HI,CAN THE HORIZONTAL E TRACK SYSTEM BE PULLED TO THE SIDE? OR THE SAME WAY THAT THE SLOTS RUN IM WANTING TO MOUNT THE HORIZONTAL E TRACK IN THE FLOOR OF MY TRAILER IN FRONT OF AND BEHIND THE TIRES OF MY UTVWIDTH WISE BECAUSE THE SLOTS WILL BE CLOSER TOGETHER TO ALLOW FOR MORE VERSATILITY.SO I WONT HAVE TO BE LINED UP PERFECT WITH THE TRACK EVERYTIME. In order to achieve the full capacity of the etrack the direction of pull should be parallel to the direction that the etrack is running.
How much the capacity would be diminished by pulling 90 degrees to the side will depend a lot on the weight of the load. If the weight is close to the capacity you would run the risk of damaging the clips of the attachments used.
