Could a 2015 Ram 3500 Tow a 16,000 lb Travel Trailer

Question:

We bought a 2016 big horn 5th wheel. It says the max wgt is 16000 just the rv we bought a 2015 dodge tradesman 3500 diesel. My husband worried truck mite not pull 5th wheel. Is this truck able to pull this?

Your 2015 Ram 3500 would have no problem towing a 16k fifth wheel trailer. You can check the towing capacities in the owners manual but I can guarantee they capacities are higher than needed to tow a 16k fifth wheel trailer.

To use the Reese Select Plus fifth wheel hitch # RP30081 that you referenced will only require the installation of a fifth wheel rail kit. For you truck you would want the part # RP56010-53 since your truck has a long bed without the hitch prep package.
