Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Ram 2500 Short Bed

Question:

I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed with 6.7 Cummins. It has 3.42 rear and DID NOT come with 5th wheel prep. I am looking to purchase a Grand Design Momentum Toy Hauler 388M - I am interested in a hitch that allows me to toy this camper AND works with a standard ball mount gooseneck trailer. Can you recommend a product? Will my truck be ok WITHOUT airbags? Thanks!

For a fifth wheel setup for your 2015 Ram 2500 short bed that will also allow you to tow a gooseneck trailer you will want the B and W Companion setup since it doubles as a gooseneck hitch.

For the hitch you would need the Companion part # BWRVK3400-5W. This is a slider hitch that will give you better clearance to make tight turns.

For a rail kit that doubles as a gooseneck hitch you would want the part # BWGNRK1384-5W.

Toy haulers can be pretty heavy when they are fully loaded and ready to tow, I would recommend a set of the helper springs part # TDR2500D. Unlike air springs these do not require you to maintain air pressure or run any lines.
