Will Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch C14332 Fit a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD
Question:
When entering truck information on this site, the 1500HD does not show up as an option. I know it was only made for a few years, so I guess its not surprising. Anyways, I was just wondering if this hitch will fit on my truck. Its a great price for a Class IV hitch. If not, what are my options?

For the 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD you would just select 1500 when looking at trailer hitches. The 1500HD still has the same frame as the 1500LD just different suspension/axle components and a few other odds and ends that would not affect the fit of a trailer hitch and make it essentially the 2500LD.
So you can install Curt Class IV trailer hitch # C14332 on your truck! The recommended ball mount is # C45341 and it has a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop. If the ball mount does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For a 2 inch ball you can use # 63845 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 63847.
