The New Orleans Saints NFL Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # FTHS150S is indeed made of metal. The two tabs that slide into your hitch receiver tube are made of aluminum. The actual fleur-de-lis emblem portion is made of cast zinc which is resistant to rust. On this zinc surface the Saints' 3-D logo is applied in an inlaid enamel finish of white, black and gold. This item is officially licensed.

You may care to add a hitch lock such as # e98879 to prevent jealous thieves from stealing your NOLA Pride! This lock comes with two keys and a protective cover for the keyway.
