Install Tip for Getting Connectors of Trailer Wiring for 2012 Ford Edge Out to Light Assemblies
Question:
I have a 2013 Ford Edge and am having a hard time installing the trailer wiring harness. the lift gate arm is very close to the panel that needs to be removed so it made it impossible for me to install the wiring by pulling the panel off.

If you check out the install video I attached (at the 1:00 mark), you can see our installer using a length of air tube fed down to the interior of a 2012 Ford Edge like yours so that he could then attach the wire connectors of the # 118515 to it and then pull it back up.
Using this method will make installing the harness possible on your vehicle.
