Troubleshooting Intermittent Brake Controller Connection Message on 2014 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2014 F150 that is me a trailer disconnect message. Lights work, brake on the trailer works. However I keep getting a message of trailer disconnect and then in a few minutes trailer connect. This goes on for the whole trips. Help. I have cleaned the ground, checked all the lights - help

Most likely the problem you are describing is a dirty brake output circuit pin on the 7-way of your 2014 Ford F-150. Try scuffing up the pin in the 5:00 position of your truck and the matching pin on your trailer's connector to see if that helps.
