Changing Hubs with 4x100 Wheel Bolt Pattern for Hubs with 4 on 4 Wheel Bolt Pattern

Question:

Hi, I hope you can help. I have a small Thule trailer that needs replacement hubs, the current hubs are Al-ko 4 x 100, and the numbers forged on the hub is LV1, then right under that, 1311409, then on the other side, 1885. The outer bearing is LM11749 and the inner bearing is LM45449 I would like to replace with a 4 x 4” free hub, it is easer find with USA standard wheels. So my question is: what p/N would replace this, is there a complete hubset replacement kit, or do I need to replace the axle with new hubs. I would appreciate your assistance.

Your best option is going to be to replace both the axles and the hubs. We unfortunately do not have any hub that use the same inner and outer bearings as your current hubs.

If you decide you want to replace your trailer axle, the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System with Hubs - 4 on 4 - Regular Tires - 1,200 Pounds # A12RS440 is a great option. This system doesn't use a traditional through axle, but rather works independently on each side and will fit any frame width trailer.

The suspension system # A12RS440 features rebound springs that act as return devices to minimize rattle and bottoming out. EZ Lube spindles make it easy to grease the bearings without removing the trailer hub. To install the system, either bolt or weld each unit to the side of your trailer.

This suspension system uses hubs that have a 4 on 4 wheel bolt pattern and use common inner and outer bearings. The system has a weight capacity of 1,200 pounds.
