Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2007 Chevy Avalanche With Motorcycle Carrier
Question:
I have a class III receiver hitch on my 2007 Chevy Avalanche. I also have a motorcycle carrier attachment that slides into the receiver hitch. I have used the carrier to hall a 350 lb motorcyle several hundred miles. The rear of my truck sagged slightly, but it was enough sag to create a different feel in the trucks handling. I now want to haul a 450 lb motorcycle using the same setup. I have not experimented with the 450 lb motorcycle however, I feel certain that 450 lbs hanging off the rear of the Avalanche will create an unsafe driving condition. I dont pull a trailer and I dont hall anything of significant weight, other than the 350 lb bike and now my desire to haul the 450 lb bike. What load leveling equipment do you recommend for my 2007 Avalanche? It is a half ton 2 wheel drive LT model.

A Timbren setup like part # TGMRYS4 would be a great option. This setup will provide rear suspension support when the vehicle is loaded and then would not affect the ride quality when unloaded.
It basically just will provide you with suspension support when you need it.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
Be sure to check the hitch capacities for your vehicle so that you know you aren't exceeding any capacities.
