Troubleshooting Hyper Flash After Trailer Wiring Install on a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
end of march i purchased a curt t connector for 2013 hyundai a week ago i started a having a problem with left turn signal it was flashing fast like i had burned out bulb so i changed the bulbs did not cure problem i ended up takeing it to dealer costed me $125.00 to trac it to the trailer harness it has worked good up un till now only used twice any suggestions

I checked your order notes and it looks like you have the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C56184 on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. Sometimes if the Curt wiring harnesses converter boxes don't get secured well enough to where they are mounted they can end up shorting out from banging around in the vehicle.
This isn't a super common problem with Curt harnesses, but we have found that the double-sided tape of the box comes loose pretty easily and can cause movement which can damage the internals.
We have found that the Tow Ready harnesses are less prone to shorting out so you may want to go with a # 118571 instead.
