Equal-I-Zer Recommendation for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Towing Camper

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3.6 motor. Jeep says tow capacity is 6200 # I am buying a camper that is registered dry weight of 5001foot The tongue weight is 547. Is EQ37060ET the correct hitch for me?

If the tongue weight (which also includes the weight of any cargo behind the Jeep rear axle), will not exceed 600 lbs at any point the Equalizer part # EQ37060ET would be a great choice.

However, since this system has an 600 lb tongue weight max you would need to go with a # EQ37100ET instead if you would exceed the 600 lbs of tongue weight. This system has a 1,000 lb tongue weight max.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
