Signal Converter Recommendation for Wiring Trailer with Separate Turn and Stop Lights
Question:
Hi, I got a pair of tail lights for my trailer, comes with Backup light, Running light, Brake light and turn light attached photo. In my truck I have a 7 way connector. Is there any way to separate the brake from the turn light? If not my turn light in the tail light will light up with the brakes. Thanks

You will need to install a signal converter like part # C56196 on the wiring of your trailer. It will take the turn signal and brake light circuit and separate them so that you can wire them to the dedicated stop and turn signals.
I attached a diagram that shows how it will wire in.
