Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size ST235/85R16

Question:

How would you say the Provider ST 235 85R 16 compare to the Goodyear G159 LT 235 85 R 16? Are these American made tires? I see bad reviews for the Chinese imported tires. We are currently looking for good tires for our Merhow goose-neck horse trailer with living quarters. its 40foot long with 2, 7,200# axles

The Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWPRG235R16 that you referenced is an excellent trailer tire. This is a Load Range G radial tire with the capacity of 4,080 lbs at 110 psi and a L speed rating of 75 miles per hour.

Most trailer tires do not have near this capacity or this high of a speed rating so I would highly recommend them for you. We do not carry Goodyear so we can't compare them directly, but we are aware that Goodyear has a great reputation.

These tires are made overseas as nearly every trailer tire on the market is now produced outside of America.
