Fifth Wheel Hitch and Bracket Kit for 2004 Ford F-350 that Rails Installed Previously

Question:

Hello,I have a 2004 Ford F 350 PowerStroke SuperDuty Dually with 8 feet bed and I am planning to buy a fifth wheel from all these beautiful collections that you have so that I can install it on this truck. Now the major challenge that I am having is that the original owner of this truck had installed a fifth wheel on this truck before and removed it with the above bed rails when he was to sell it,I think that the below bed rails are still there based on the pictures of the installation rails that I saw on your website. All the holes that were drilled for the fifth wheel installation are still there but what I dont know is whether these same holes will work for the fifth wheel that I buy for this truck or should I just ask if the measurements for all the fifth wheels are the same according to the size of the truck beds. Thanks once again and I look forward to hearing from you asap. Just to say that you guys are really doing a very wonderful job especially in the area of your video clips,it is always very helpful, educative and informative. There are times that a person or somebody might not know the proper use and application of a particular device and by watching your video clips not only will that person know the use,if he/she can be attentive, the installation will come handy. Thanks once again for a good job,I wish you the best of luck.

If you have fifth wheel rail brackets still installed on the frame of your truck you would only need to match the rail manufacturer to pick out the correct rails and install hardware. Nearly all fifth wheel rail dimensions are the same so as long as you get a set of above the bed rails installed in your truck bed your fifth wheel hitch (or a new one), would fit the rails just fine.

A very popular custom rail kit for your 2004 Ford F-350 is the part # RP50082-58. For just the rails to go with this bracket kit you would want the part # RP58058. You would also need the hardware kit part # RP58430. I attached a picture that shows what this bracket kit would look like if it were installed in your truck for you to compare to.

A very popular hitch then that would fit the rails would be the Pro Series hitch part # RP30928.
