Installation Of Tow Ready T-One Trailer Wiring Harness On 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt
Question:
Where is the factory plug to plug in your trailer wire harness on a 2006 chevy colbolt ls. Got the hitch installed and bought the wire harness just cant find the factory plugs to plug it in. Dont want to hard wire it.. thanks

When installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118407 in your 2006 Cobalt, you will need to access the rear cargo area and remove the spare tire cover first.
Then you will need to get access to the back of the tail lights by moving the carpeted liner. Then unplug the connector from the back of the tail lights and connect the T-One harness with the yellow and brown wire to the left tail light connector. You will need to attach the white ground wire with the ring terminal to the body with the included self-tapping screw. Then move to the passenger side and repeat the installation of the T-One harness to the tail light connector.
