How to Pick Out Replacement Slip On Rotor, Caliper and Brake Line for Trailer

Question:

I have a UFP trailer. Tandem axle. For a Champion 198 Elite bass boat. It has brakes on the back axle. Had a problem the other day where the caliper came loose and ripped off one side. Broke the brake line, etc. Looking to get a kit with new brakes/rotors. Dont need hubs. Would like to get whatever is most corrosion resistant. How do I go about measuring and picking the right kit? Need guidance on the measuring/sizing to know which one to get. Thank you.

Sounds like you have an over-the-hub style of disc brake setup on your trailer. To pick out the correct replacement rotors will require you to measure the diameter of the rotors you currently have and know the bolt pattern of the hubs as well. With that info you can check out the link I attached to see all of the over the hub rotors we offer.

To pick out the correct replacement caliper will require you to know the brand of your current brakes so that I can pick you out the correct one. If you have a Kodiak setup there would be Kodiak stamped on the caliper like the part # KDBC225DAC.

I also attached a page that has all of the calipers we carry as well. You will want to know the axle capacity as well.

You didn't say how long of a brake line you would need, but the part # BH-3MFS-1 is a 12 inch section that would work for most applications and would most likely be a similar section to what you damaged.
