Recommended Extra-Long Ball Mount For 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Question:

I am looking for the correct ball mount for a 2015/16 Range Rover Sport. The one I have from my other vehicle does not stick out far enough away from the bumper so I am assuming it needs to be a few inches longer than the typical length. I am towing about 5,000lbs to a 7500lb mount should work. Thank you

We have several extended ball mounts that will work for your Range Rover Sport. The ball mounts have various rise or drop features, so you will want to know just how much of a drop or rise you need. You can check out the attached helpful article that explains how to choose a ball mount that works for you.

If you do not need a lot of rise or drop, I recommend a ball mount like part # BH20. This ball mount has a 2 inch drop or 3/4 inch rise and is 13-1/4 inches long from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball shank hole. The ball mount is designed for 2 inch trailer receiver openings.
