The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17500 will work well for your 1991 Ford F-150. The TruTrack # C17500 fits a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver and has a maximum gross towing weight rating of 10,000 pounds. This system comes with the adjustable shank and a 2-5/16 inch diameter chrome hitch ball.

When choosing a weight distribution system, it is important to keep the trailer's tongue weight in mind. The # C17500 is rated for use with trailers that have a tongue weight between 800 - 1,000 pounds. If your trailer has a tongue weight higher than 1,000 pounds, this system will not help distribute the tongue weight effectively. If your trailer has a tongue weight lower than 800 pounds, the system will cause a very stiff, rigid ride while pulling the trailer.
