Troubleshooting Truck that Trailer Running Light Fuse Blows When Headlights are Turned On
Question:
Every time I turn on lights my trailer running light fuse blows. Its a 2004 Chevy 2500. Its 15 amps. I dont even need a trailer hooked up.

Sounds like you have a short on the trailer running light circuit of your 2004 Chevy Silverado.
First check the trailer connector pins for corrosion or bend pins as that can easily cause a short. Next check the back of the connector looking for any cut or exposed wire there and fix as necessary.
