Solution for Greasing EZ Lube Spindle that Had Zerk Fitting Fall Off
Question:
is the grease zert in the EZ lube type spindle screwed in threaded or is it pressed in? I have a trailer with such spindles and 1 of the grease zerts is missing.

If it's missing the zerk fitting the easiest solution I could recommend for you would be to replace your grease caps with Bearing Buddies. Bearing Buddies replace the grease cap and provide an easy way to grease hubs.
In order to pick out the correct bearing buddy you will need know the pilot hole of your hub with a dial caliper. To do this, remove the wheel and tire and remove the grease cap from the center of the hub. Usually it is a metal cap that is just lightly hammered into place. Use a screwdriver to pry off the cap.
Clean the grease off and measure the opening.
Once you know what you have check out the link I attached to see which would be the correct product for your hub.
You might be able to have a replacement Zerk installed on your spindle, but we do not carry replacements. The Bearing Buddy solution would be a much easier solution.
