Yakima Fullswing for 2013 Subaru Outback and Curt hitch
Question:
Thank you for the demonstration video 2013 Subaru Outback with Yakima Fullswing. What type of hitch is used in the demonstration? Our recently-purchased Outback has a Curt 2inch inch that indicates 4,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs Max Tongue WT although I understand the car is rated for less. What type of hitch is used in the video? Ours seems to sit back further under the bumper than the one in the video. The approx distance from the center of the pin hole to the outside edge of the back bumper is 7. Will Fullswing work with this setup? If not, is there any swing style 4-bike hitch rack that will? If not, what 4-bike hitch mount do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your help.

The hitch shown in the video is the Curt Class III hitch, part # 13390 which has a hitch pin hole to furthest rearward point of the back bumper measurement of 3 inches, when installed on a 2011 Subaru Outback. If you click the provide link, you can see how we measure for bumper clearance.
Take this measurement on your vehicle, and if the measurement you get is less than 9 inches, the Yakima # Y02465 FullSwing will work very well for you. Since you measured 7 inches, the rack would indeed work well for you.
