For the 2013 Ford F-150 you will first need an installation kit, # RP50081-58. This will provide the attachment point for the hitch.

For a 5th wheel hitch I recommend # RP30047. This is a great entry level hitch with dual jaw and 4-Way pivoting head. It is rated for 16,000 pounds which is likely more than the truck but check the owner's manual to be sure.

Since you have a short bed truck I recommend using a Sidewinder pin box on the trailer. But for that I would need to know the manufacturer and model number of the pin box itself. This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box itself. A Sidewinder will move the pivot point of the trailer back 22 inches for cab clearance when turning.

If your truck has the 6-1/2 foot bed and not the 5-1/2 foot bed then another option is to use installation kit # DM8552004-71 with Demco HiJacker # DM8550034. This is an automatic slider with 14 inches of travel. None of the other hitches we have can match that much travel which is needed for making tight turns. I have included some helpful links and videos for you.
