Low Clearance Snow Chains for Tire Size 275/R
Question:
Own a 2016 Toyota Tundra 4x4 5.7l TRD off road with 275/65 R 18 with close clearance on the front. I need a set of chain/cable for use. While Toyota recommends no use on front one area which I use my vehicle, requires maneuvering a hairpin curve downhill usually snow/ice packed, pulling a trailer. What product do you recommend. Thanks

While we can't ever recommend the use of snow chains on a vehicle that the owners manual specifically says not to use chains with I can say that the chains that would work the best and have the best clearance for your 275/65R18 would be the Titan chains # TC2327. The link thickness of this chain is 0.145" (3.7 mm).
Managing a downhill sharp turn in the snow/ice with a trailer sounds incredibly risky. I would advice going as slow as humanly possible to help prevent not being able to make the turn.
