Trailer Connector Not Working on 2014 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I purchased the CURT 13126 Class 3 Trailer Hitch and installed it with no problems. I then purchased the Hopkins 43575 Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Kit. I connected the wire to the port under the rear bumper passenger side and then to the trailer. There is no power. Will part# 118670 solve my problem? Will this part plug into both of the ports under the rear bumper? The instructions say to hook the jumper harness behind the driver side rear trim panel in the cargo area. Is this the rear panel in the trunk, back seat or the third row seating area. Is there a video for the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder with-out the tow package that would help clarify the instructions. Also, since I have part of the wiring kit is there another part number or numbers that I could purchase so I avoid having two of the same cables. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

The Hopkins wiring harness you purchased for your 2014 Nissan Pathfinder is for models that came with a factory tow package. Since your harness is not working the vehicle probably does not have the factory tow package so it is missing some key components.
Using trailer wiring harness # 118670 will provide these missing components and allow the trailer wiring harness to work. The jumper harness installs in the rear most part of the Pathfinder under the floor. I have linked the instructions that include some pictures for you.
There isn't a part that is just the jumper harness and relays so you will at least have a spare if it is ever needed.
