Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for the 2010 Mini Cooper
Question:
Im trying to determine if I need an extension to use a Thule T2 - 917TR. Im wondering once the hitch is mounted on my 2010 Mini Cooper S - JCW how far is the center of the receiver pin from the outside of the rear bumper. I have dimensions on the Thule rack... Thanks!

When we installed the Curt Hitch part # C11130 on a similar 2009 Mini Cooper as your 2010 model we found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point out on the bumper measures 4-12 inches.
When folded down the Thule T2 would have no problem clearing the bumper. It would be pretty close, but I don't think it would clear folded up though.
