Where is the blue wire on the back of the truck for trailer brakes

On your 2000 Dodge Ram brake (blue) wire does not run all the way back to the 4-pole at the rear; it stops at the connector that is located under the driver's side wheel well. In order to finalize the installation of a 4-Way to 7-Way adapter such as # 30717 you must splice into this wire and continue it back to the adapter. For additional wire you can use # 10-1-1 sold by the foot. This is only on trucks that came with a factory 4-Way connector.
