Lippert provides both commonly used 2-1/4 and 3-1/8 inch shackle straps with the # LC281285 Upgraded hardware kit because you'd use whichever size is closest to the existing straps that join your springs to the equalizer, in order to keep the suspension geometry as close as possible to the way it originally was.
