What is Proper Trailer Tire Inflation Pressure
Question:
Should I always run it at 50 psi have load star k550, usually only have maybe 800lbs in single axle 10 x5ft super sports utility trailer .dont notice any hopping or swaying

A trailer tire should ALWAYS be inflated to its maximum rated psi pressure rating as shown on the tire's sidewall. At no time should you over- or under-inflate a trailer tire even if it is operated well below its rated weight capacity. There is no benefit from altering the inflation from the specified pressure and doing this can cause tire overheating and premature failure. If your trailer tires show evidence of cupping (wear in an isolated spot) this is usually due to the tire being severely out of balance.
