Adapting 6 Pole Square Trailer Connector on Tow Vehicle to 4-Pole Connector
Question:
My Rendezvous is wired for a Jayco square 6 pin plug and I need an adapter to be able to use it on my relatives trailer with a normal 4 pin flat reciever. I have done extensive internet search, and I have asked at our Jayco dealer, they said bring in my car and they will wire one up, I would rather just buy an adapter if one exists, is there such a thing out there?

We offer an adapter that would allow the 6 pin on a Jayco to be towed by a 4-pole connector on the vehicle, part # A10-6034VP, but you're needing a connector that would work the OTHER way. We don't offer one, but I do have a solution or two for you.
If the connector behind the rear bumper and below the driver's side taillight isn't being used, you can simply plug in the # 41405 to provide a 4-pole. If it is being used, you can use the # 118383 that would plug inline at the connection point between the taillight assemblies and the vehicle wiring harness. I'll link you to a video showing how this is installed.
