Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2015 Dodge Durango SXT with LED Tail Lights
Question:
Hello, I just purchased a 2015 Dodge Durango SXT awd and was wondering which trailer light kit to get. It does have the led taillights, I have heard there has been issues with those. It does not have the factory tow package.

I recommend Tow Ready trailer wiring harness # 118617 for your 2015 Dodge Durango SXT with LED tail lights. This wiring harness plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring but draws power for the trailer lights from the Durango's battery.
Since the power for the trailer lights comes from the battery and not through the tail light connections it won't harm the LED lights on the Durango. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you as well as a link to the instructions.
