Recommended LED Clearance Light To Replace Peterson Incandescent Light

Question:

Hi I have 2 1/2 PM 100-15 Petersen incandescent clearance lights red and amber. I would like to replace them with LED. I see you can use a grommet requires drilling larger holes - I have a couple that are mounted in the fiberglass fairings but I would rather use a surface mount if possible. Do you have any recommendation and part numbers to suggest? Thank-you

The clearance light I recommend is the Peterson Piranha part # 162A. This is a 2-1/2 inch x 3/4 inch round light with 3 LED diodes and has an amber lens. The grommet and pigtail for this light is sold separately and is part # 162-18K.

We have one surface mount clearance light that would be the same size as the lights you currently have. This is also an incandescent light and is the Optronics Round Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light, part # MC58AB.
