Parts Needed to Tow a Fifth Wheel Trailer with a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 5-1/2 foot Bed

Have you heard of s Reese Revolution or Revolution 5th wheel hitch. A friend and customer of yours told me about it. I have a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 HD 4dr 6ft. bed.

Yes, we are very familiar with the Reese Revolution/Sidewinder pin boxes for fifth wheel trailers. They are great solutions for trailers with short beds that would otherwise not be able to make sharp turns due to cab trailer interference. If the truck bed is shorter than 6 feet in length (like yours) this is the only solution.

You will need to remove the pin box of the trailer and replace it with a Sidewinder pin box. Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.

There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.

Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.

For a rail kit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 5-1/2 foot bed you would want the part # RP50064-58 and then for a hitch part # RP30047. These would work great with a Sidewinder/Reese Revolution pin box.
