LED Backup Light Recommendation for a 2015 Ford F-150

Question:

I want to install a LED back up light on my 16 ft cargo pulled by a 2015 Ford F150. 12 volt system. What do I need to complete that job?

Your 2015 Ford F-150 should have a 7-way trailer connector at the rear of it. The wire running to the center pin is the reverse light circuit and would be the wire to use for adding a reverse light.

The part # BUL10CB would work as a back up light but it is a recessed mount light that would require cutting a hole in your trailer. For a grommet you would need # a70gb and a pigtail harness # A47PB.

You might prefer a surface mounted light like the part # BUL90CB since it can be attached using holes drilled in the bumper.
