Spare Tire Bike Rack and Adapter Bar Recommendation for a 2002 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Im looking to buy a bike rack for a 2002 Rav4. I looked at the Thule and it appears I would also need to buy an adaptor bar for my bike. Am I right? Thanks

If your bike does not have a horizontal top tube that would allow a hanging bike rack to carry it level then yes, you would need an adapter bar like the part # 64005. This will attach at the steering stem and the seat post to create a level attachment point. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.
The Thule Spare Me bike rack part # TH963PRO would work well as a bike rack and would attach to the rear spare of your RAV4.
