Tires that are Better for Off-Road Use for a Trailer Towed Behind an ATV

Have and old monkey ward camp trailer build a small off rd trailer out of has 5.70-8 tires and wheels//need larger rims and tires to handle off road behind atv///street legal

I spoke with our resident tire and wheel expert and he suggested going with 215/60-8 tires. In this size we have tire and wheel combos with 4 on 4 bolt pattern and 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. I have included a link to them for you.

This size is going to be much wider than the 5.70-8 tires you have now and the height will be about the same. To use the wider size you will need to determine if there is clearance between the existing tires and the trailer frame. The 215 is going to be 3 inches wider than the 5.70. So there needs to be more than 1-1/2 inches of clearance between the existing tires and the trailer.
